The old and the new at Stretford

Photographed this afternoon from the bridge over the Bridgewater Canal at Stretford, the barge was actually a long way off but the camera phone did a reasonable job of capturing the detail. In the background is the gleaming white superstructure of Manchester United’s stadium.
