- Victoria Cross This section refers to burials of VC holders in the Far East. I don’t see it listed, here, but the Victoria Cross was also awarded to Arthur Stewart King Scarf, Squadron Leader of 62 Squadron, RAF, in action over Malaya on 9th December 1941. He died at Alor Star Hospital, Malaya on the same day and is buried at Taiping War Cemetery, Malaya.
